About

The record of women’s football, for the people who follow it closely.

What Notebook FC is

Notebook FC is a free website for women’s football statistics, analytics and news. It covers three competitions: the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the United States, the Women’s Super League (WSL) in England and the UEFA Women’s Champions League (WCL). It is published by NWSL Data.

What it holds

  • Scores and fixtures for every match in all three competitions, with goals and cards in the order they happened, lineups and substitutions.

  • Standings for the NWSL and the WSL, and the Champions League league phase, with each club’s form.

  • NWSL player statistics and analytics: goals, assists, shots, expected goals (xG) and expected assists (xA) for every player who has played this season, with her rates per 90 minutes, her rank in the league and a log of her matches.

  • Club pages for every NWSL and WSL club: position, points, form, results, fixtures, top performers and what is at stake in the playoff race.

  • Numbers that stand out: short statements calculated from the record, such as a club’s run of results or a player’s share of her club’s goals.

  • News and analysis: articles, Briefs, Exhibits and interactive Experiences.

How current it is

Results and tables follow the matches as they are recorded. Player statistics are updated after each round of matches, and every player page says the date its figures were recorded.
