Bay FC announced on October 8, 2026 that they had transferred Zambian forward Racheal Kundananji to the Chicago Stars for $700,000. The club said she would report to Chicago after returning from international play.
An original member of Bay's roster, Kundananji departs with 12 goals in 63 appearances for the club. Bay identify her as their all-time leading scorer, making this the departure of both a founding player and the club's leading source of goals to date.
Bay signed Kundananji from Madrid CFF in February 2024, announcing a contract through the 2027 season with an option for 2028. The October 2026 transfer takes her to Chicago before the end of that originally announced term.
